Iran Airport Tourist Visa (Visa upon Arrival at Airport )
From now on, Nationals of some countries holding ordinary passports and wishing to visit Iran mainland, can obtain a one-week Tourist Visa upon arrival at the following airports:

- Tehran Mehrabad Airport
- Mashad Airport
- Shiraz Airport
- Tabriz Airport
- Isfahan Airport

Citizens of the following countries can, under certain circumstances, get a visa on arrival at the airport:
Albania , Armenia , Austria , Azerbaijan , Bahrain , Belarus , Belgium , Bosnia Herzegovina , Brazil , Brunei , Bulgaria , China (People’s Republic) , Colombia , Croatia , Cuba , Cyprus , Denmark , Finland , France , Georgia , Germany , Greece , Hungary , India , Indonesia , Italy , Japan , Kazakhstan , Kuwait , Kyrgyzstan , Lebanon , Luxembourg , Malaysia , Mexico , Mongolia , Netherlands , New Zealand , North Korea , Norway , Oman , Palestine , Peru , Philippines , Poland , Portugal , Qatar , Romania , Russian Federation , Saudi Arabia (KSA) , Singapore , Slovak (Rep.) , Slovenia , South Korea , Spain , Sweden , Switzerland , Syria , Tajikistan , Thailand , Turkmenistan , Ukraine , United Arab Emirates , Uzbekistan , Venezuela , Vietnam , Yugoslavia.
Please note that citizens of the UK or US cannot get a visa at the airport.
Please note that this is a relatively new service offered at the airports in Iran. We always recommend that visitors obtain a visa BEFORE they travel to Iran.
If you have little time left before you intend to travel, we do not recommend that you rely on getting your visa at the airport. Instead, you should consider using a Visa2Iran Service which can normally arrange a visa at short notice.

Requirements:
- The applicant(s) should have a confirmed return ticket and a valid passport with at least 6 months validity and a photo to be attached to the application form.
- Visa fee is US$50 for the holder of the passport and US$10 for each one of the companions (if any).
- This type of visa is only for tourist purposes and the followings are not entitled to this visa facilitation.
- Journalists and reporters on mission.
- Applicants whose applications for Iran Visa have been rejected before.
- Iranians holding foreign passports but still maintaining their Iranian nationality.

To relax and ease up visa issuance process, interested companies and travel agents can refer to the passport and visa section of the ministry of foreign affairs minimum 24 hours before arrival to file their applications for visa issuance upon arrival.
